Good Morning my lovelies.
How are you today? Did you sleep well last night? Have you drunk any water today?
I’m doing pretty well today. My birthday present to myself arrived yesterday, so I am really excited. My weekend is going to be busy, but that’s OK, it’s stuff that needs to get done.
Today is Episode 2 of my Journal Photography series. I only have one journal spread to share with you this week, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
Let’s get right to it, shall we?
Journal Photography: Episode 2

I call this spread, my “beach episode” spread. IYKYK.
I visited Lake Erie on Father’s Day and enjoyed a lovely afternoon just listening to the waves and enjoying the sunshine – from the inside of my beach tent!
I grew up close to the seaside, which isn’t the same as a lake, but I enjoy it none the less.
A seagull feather blew into the beach tent, so I decided to keep it, laminate it, and stick it into my journal. I just found my laminating machine after the move, and I feel as though I’m probably going to become a menace with it.
Just to talk about the supplies that I use for a moment:
– The photos in my journal spreads are either printed with my Instax Printer (I really like being able to print polaroids from my phone), or my Canon Ivy 2 printer, which prints the photos off onto sticker paper (which I think is really cool.)
– All of the stickers I used in this spread came from an ocean themed sticker book that I picked up from Walmart.
– My fountain pen came from Five Below, and it is one of the top 5 fountain pens that I own.
And that is it for this journal post! I hope that you enjoyed it, and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. My next journal spread is already in progress, so expect another entry to this series soon!
