Good Morning Lovelies.
How are you? Are you looking forward to the weekend? Do you have anything fun or interesting planned? Are you just going to relax?
I am a little disappointed that I won’t be able to visit the beach this weekend, but I am sure I will find something else to occupy my time. Maybe I’ll catch up on my reading, or playing some video games.
Today’s post is the next entry in my Journal Photography series. I hope you’ve been enjoying them so far!
Let’s get right to the photos!
Journal Photography: Episode 3

Today I will be sharing two photos of the same journal spread.
Last week, I took a trip to New Jersey/New York City to visit a couple of dear friends of mine, and this is the journal spread that I created for the trip.
We visited a lot of cool places, and I found a new shop in NYC that I would love to visit again, called Teso Life. I also visited a very cute stationery shop called Nico Neco Zakkaya. That is where I got the adorable postcard that you can see there.
Also featured is the adorable kitty bookmark that my friend Jess gave me for my birthday.

Here you can see the other page in the spread.
I am trying to get better about using my typewriter when I journal, so I wrote out my description of the trip and stuck it to the back of the postcard. The postcard is then taped into the centre of the spread, so it can be turned like a page. This gives me more space for photos and ephmera.
One of my favourite kinds of ephemera to use recently has been receipts from various stores that I visit when I am out and about. The receipts here are from Teso Life and Daiso.
I’m also using some cute new washi tapes that I picked up at Nico Neco and at Daiso.
And that is it for this journal post! I hope that you enjoyed it, and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
