Good Morning Lovelies!
Happy Friday! I hope that your week has gone well, and I hope that your weekend is everything that you need it to be. How are you feeling today?
I am going OK, though I am a little tired. I’m looking forward to the weekend, taking it easy, and hopefully going on a little day trip!
Today’s post is Episode 5 in my Journal Photography series. I love working on my journals, and I’ve really been enjoying sharing some of my work with you.
Let’s get right into this week’s entry – shall we?
Journal Photography: Episode 5

Today’s journal spread is of my recent trip to the Cleveland MetroParks Zoo.
In this photo you can see the left page, which features a couple of photos that I have shared in recent posts! I really enjoy mixing photos printed using my Instax Mini Printer and my Canon Ivy 2 printer. If you asked me to pick a favourite from the two, I wouldn’t be able to.
I also used a sticker that I picked up on the visit, and a receipt from the gift shop.
I’ve also started to like including receipts in my journal spreads, an idea I picked up from my journaling inspo board on Pinterest.
Do any of you use Pinterest too?
You can also see the postcard that I picked up – it’s got baby Tigers!

In this photo you can see the right page, as well as the little blurb that I attached to the back of the postcard. That was written on my red Royal typewriter!
I love that the Cleveland MetroParks Zoo gives you tickets when you visit – tickets are some of my favourite kind of ephemera. This ticket features a Rhino.

In this last photo, you can see the rest of the right page that was hidden beneath the admission ticket.
I love making my journal spreads more on the interactive side, mostly for when I come back to them months later. They are also more engaging when I let other people flip through them. This is actually another idea that I picked up from Pinterest, and I promise, I am not sponsored by Pinterest.
The rest of the little stickers I used on this spread, such as the flowers and the ribbons, are deco stickers that I usually see used to decorate photocards and things like that. They are also perfect to add a little flair to journal spreads!
All of these photos were taken using my iPhone 12, and were edited using the Photoshop Express App.
And that is it for this journal post! I hope that you enjoyed it, and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
