Journal Photography: Episode 6

Good Morning Lovelies.

How are you today? Are you looking forward to the weekend? Do you have anything fun planned? I hope that your week went well.

It’s a holiday weekend for me, though I don’t have a lot planned. I am excited for the Hobonichi 2025 release tomorrow!

Today’s post is Episode 6 in my Journal Photography series, which I hope you have been enjoying so far.

Let’s get right to it, shall we?

Journal Photography: Episode 6

Today’s journal spread is from my visit to the Laurel Caverns in PA.

I used to be a Geology student, so this place was absolutely awesome to see. There is a guided tour, and a self-guided tour. I only took the guided tour as I wasn’t wearing the correct footwear for the self-guided tour, which is more strenuous. (This was a last minute trip, so I wasn’t as prepared as I usually would be.) I hope to go back and do the self-guided tour at some point though.

Most of the right page is covered up by the postcard I picked up from the gift shop, though you can see a photo of the inside of the caverns on the left page.

Here’s a better photo of the details hidden underneath the flaps. I love making my journal pages interactive, just incase anyone flips through them.

The Laurel Caverns sticker was free as we entered the gift shop, the perfect piece of ephemera for my journal.

There was also a really cool little truck that was outside the visitor centre that was serving coffee. You can see another photo of that in one of my recent Aesthetic Photography Weekly posts (Entry #60).

If you’re interested in stuff like this, and you’re close to the area, I suggest looking them up!

And that is it for this journal post! I hope that you enjoyed it, and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
