Good Morning Lovelies.
How are you? How was your weekend? I hope that this week goes exactly as you need it.
I had a good weekend. I got some decorating done in my home that I’ve been putting off for a while, so it feels good to finally have that done.
Today’s post is going to be some 35mm film photography! After losing my rolls of film when I moved, I finally got them developed, so I am going to share some of them with you today!
These photos are all from Philadelphia Zoo. All of these photos were taken using a Canon AE-1 Program with Kodak 35mm colour film.
Let’s get right into it!
As a quick note, I might not name every animal in these photos, as these were taken last winter, and I don’t remember the names. I’m really sorry about that.
Film Photography: Philadelphia Zoo

I absolutely adore pigeons, so I am really happy that these photos turned out well. This was my first time taking photos through such fine mesh using film.
Both of these cuties were watching me intently.

There are so many pretty colours in the reptile house at Philly Zoo. This adorable fellow was enjoying a bask under his sun lamp.

This is one of my favourite ways to photography animals like crocodiles and alligators. I really like the reflection of the eye in the water, while seeing the body in the water below.

Galapagos Tortoises are some of my favourite animals to see when I go to the Zoo. They remind me of my Granddad.
The handsome fellow even posed for the photo, which is always appreciated!

I walked through a special enclosed area to see this lovely bird. He was watching the whole time, and the keeper in the enclosure told us that he is quite shy.

This photo of the flamingoes is one of my favourites that I took. Their colours look particularly beautiful on film; they go really well with the analogue aesthetic.
The group was standing quite close to the fence by the walkway, so I was able to get a really nice shot.

The Zebras were enjoying a nice lie down. They are such beautiful animals – I always want to pet their spiky manes.

This giant penguin was setup for the Winter Light Show at the Philadelphia Zoo. From across the pond, it kind of reminded my of an effigy.
The water was so still that I got a really lovely reflection as well.
This is my favourite photo of the bunch, which is why I saved it for last!
I hope that you enjoyed this week’s post. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
