I’m looking forward to the weekend. I’m going to be checking out a neighbourhood flea market on Sunday, which I’m really looking forward to.

Today’s post is Episode 9 of my Journal Photography series, where I share with you the latest journal entry. This week’s is from my adventure journal.

Journal Photography: Episode 9

This week’s journal entry is from my visit to the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck, which visited my city a couple of weeks ago. This is the fourth(I think) time I’ve been to visit this truck when it’s come around.

They serve some really cute food and they sell some exclusive merch that you can only get from the truck. You can a piece of that in the photo in the form of the enamel pin, this one is a 50th Anniversary pin for Hello Kitty and now lives on my memory board.

This journal entry is a little bit different for me, as I usually do not use this much pink. Of course I used the backing of the enamel pin as an interactive flap.

In this photo you can see underneath the flap! I got a couple of these super cute stickers for buying some merchandise, so I had to include one in my journal spread.

The Hello Kitty washi tape came from a store called Teso Life which I visited for the first time when I went to New York in July.

I also got some cute photos with the truck, which you can see on the right hand page.

Both of these photos were taken using my iPhone 12, and were edited using the VSCO app to really make the pink pop!
